The 1983 NFL Draft Class is considered by many to be among the best of all time, in particular due to the six quarterbacks being taken in the first round (four of whom would eventually play in at least one Super Bowl), and the seven Hall of Famers from the draft class (six in the first round alone). Nine additional players from the first round played in at least one Pro Bowl in their career, while a total of 41 players from the draft played in the Pro Bowl. The class is also famous for having several players not initially sign with their NFL team, choosing instead to play in the rival upstart USFL.
